The Diploma of Project Management develops the skills and knowledge to lead a project from conception to completion, encapsulating skills including budget setting, progress tracking, managing development, leading communications and providing inspirational and effective team leadership.

The Diploma of Project Management has been designed in consultation with industry experts, equipping graduates with the complete range of skills needed to be a high-performing project manager. WHY STUDY THIS COURSE?

The Diploma of Project Management reflects the role of industry leaders who apply project management skills and knowledge and manage projects in a variety of contexts, across several sectors. This course provides a sound theoretical knowledge base and the ability to use a range of specialised, technical and managerial competencies to initiate, plan, execute and evaluate your work and the work of others.

This course is equally useful as a launch pad into an entry level role, to hone managerial skills for a mid-level leadership position or to provide a broad skills set for a small business operator.

Workload

A minimum of 20 hours per week. This includes face to face & online study, consolidated learning & assessment preparation.

Entry Requirements

Completion of an Australian Year 12 Certificate or equivalent & minimum IELTS overall score of 5.5 with a minimum 5.0 in writing or evidence of upper intermediate English level.

Course Content

The Diploma of Project Management is completed over a 12 month period (48 teaching weeks) and includes 12 units of competency, 8 core units and 4 elective units. Participants will have the opportunity to increase their skills in identifying, planning, developing, and managing tasks fundamental to the successful delivery of a project.

This qualification will also provide participants with the training needed to apply integrated technical and theoretical concepts in a broad range of skilled working situations.
